Great day @ The Sack

We had a great opening day at The Potato Sack today!  Tons of shoppers all day long. Cupcake Delirium sold all of her cupcakes and will be back tomorrow with more!  We had tribute to the Royal Wedding by wearing our vintage hats!  FUN FUN DAY!

FINALLY...THE POTATO SACK SALE IS THIS WEEK! WHOO HOOO!

We are so excited about The Potato Sack Sale this week.  We have so many people that are participating this time...we can't wait to see all of the fabulous things at The Sack!

If you have not shopped with us before you are in for a treat!  We are a little bit like a flea market, a little bit like an estate sale and a little retail.  We have people who are downsizing and clearing out their house. We have people who are clearing our storage space and for some this is their business.  It is a very eclectic mix of items.  We have antiques to vintage to contemporary items for your home! Come spend the afternoon with us. We will have CupCake Delirium in her new Baby Blue Truck selling her yummy cupcakes. We have Terry's Pimento Cheese and Puffs.  We have some great new places for lunch in the area...have a girls day with your girlfriends and do a little mother's day shopping!

We had a "move in" day for the vendors at "The Sack" and oh, do they have some gorgeous things!  Here is just a little preview of some of my favorite things from today.  I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Antique on the Rocks

There is a certain je ne sais quoi about the parties in old movies – women wearing elegant gloves and holding long, skinny cigarettes and men trading perfectly timed jokes over highballs.

Step back in time at the warehouse flea market, The Potato Sack. Martha Serenius, AKA the East Coast Junk Gypsy, and business partner, Nell Wilson, have stocked ten rooms in a former potato chip factory with antiques and other treasures. Shop furniture, vintage glassware, art, fabric and more at a shopping event (featuring Cupcake Delirium) that celebrates fantastic finds that are current, as well as those from decades past.

It may not be in black and white, but this swinging soiree is one for the ages.
