There is a certain je ne sais quoi about the parties in old movies – women wearing elegant gloves and holding long, skinny cigarettes and men trading perfectly timed jokes over highballs.
Step back in time at the warehouse flea market, The Potato Sack. Martha Serenius, AKA the East Coast Junk Gypsy, and business partner, Nell Wilson, have stocked ten rooms in a former potato chip factory with antiques and other treasures. Shop furniture, vintage glassware, art, fabric and more at a shopping event (featuring Cupcake Delirium) that celebrates fantastic finds that are current, as well as those from decades past.
It may not be in black and white, but this swinging soiree is one for the ages.
